Welcome to the Greydogs Photography website!

I started taking photos for pleasure about 1984. The camera just gave out this year. When showing some of the pictures I had taken, the police chief at the time saw them. He liked what he saw and sent me to police photo schools and I attended Lakeshore Technical College photo class. I became the police photographer taking pictures of crime scenes and became the officer in charge of the photo section. Crime scene photography gave me the true feeling and eye for detail. I still enjoy the very close up and detailed shot. I also enjoy the freezing action shots. Crime scenes can never be duplicated exactly nor can most of the photos I take. A once in a life time opportunity frozen in time.

Montana has given me the opportunity to take lots of photos. Game and non game species are abundant, and the flowers unique to this area. Frost pictures can not ever be duplicated; I have never seen two patterns the same -- The right light -- A lot of luck.

My photos are a regular feature during the hunting season in the Lewistown Argus newspaper and have appeared in the Great Falls Tribune. I have won several on-line photos contests and had the first Weimaraner ever featured on a pointing dog web site. I have won at the Central Montana fair with photos. Two of my photos are scheduled to be published in a book this fall.

Some of my photo cards have been sent to Germany, Brazil and Australia.
